 It is my privilege, as a clinical psychologist, to be able to work with people at the most profound cognitive and emotional levels. This is a privilege that I do not take lightly. It is my passion and duty to provide psychological support to those in distress, and always to put the health of people first. I enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, listening to others’ perspectives, and I am always motivated to learn.

I am a clinical psychologist that works eclectically, however, my framework for understanding is based in early relationships which inform how we think, feel and behave in the world with ourselves and others. The relationship between myself and a client is pivotal to the success of the therapy process. I have special interest in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and I also really enjoy both individuals and couples work. I work with both teens and adults. With training in EMDR, I am also able to assist individuals struggling with trauma. I believe therapy is a journey of self discovery which informs behavioural changes; it is a gift to the self.

I am a registered Counselling Psychologist in Cape Town.  I have been working with adolescents and adults in their struggles with a full spectrum of psychological disorders. I have special interest in the treatment of Eating Disorders and have extensive experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My therapeutic training and approaches include Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

With a profound sense of pride, I have played a pivotal role within Cape Town Psychologists since its inception in November 2019. As the Practice Manager, I contribute a wealth of expertise honed through my attainment of an FET certificate in Office Administration, a certificate in Medical Practice Management, and a certificate in Basic Counselling Skills. My dedication lies in the efficient day-to-day management of Cape Town Psychologists, where I adeptly leverage my skills to uphold operational excellence. Furthermore, my commitment extends to guiding clients through the intricacies of medical aid coverage, offering clarity and strategic support as they navigate their mental health journey.
