Cape Town Psychologists (Pty) Ltd. was founded by Daniel Rabinowitz, Lauren Jacobs, and Chantal Fowler in November 2019 on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based psychological care delivered by professionals who genuinely care about the people they serve. What began as a vision to create trusted, client-centred rooms has grown into a shared multidisciplinary space of mental health professionals, united by a shared commitment to clinical excellence and ethical care.
Based in the heart of Sea Point, our team at Cape Town Psychologists includes clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists, registered counsellors, and a child social worker, each bringing their own expertise and perspective. We provide thoughtful, personalised care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns.
We recognise that seeking help is often one of the most courageous steps a person can take. For this reason, we are committed to creating a containing, welcoming, and supportive environment where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Our goal is to help our clients manage their emotions and learn ways to tolerate their distress. In this way, clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more meaningful, fulfilling lives.
At Cape Town Psychologists, we are passionate about delivering exceptional mental health care grounded in the latest scientific research and tailored to the unique needs of each client. We believe that high-quality psychological services should combine clinical expertise with genuine human connection—because effective therapy begins with feeling understood.

It is my privilege, as a clinical psychologist, to be able to work with people at the most profound cognitive and emotional levels. This is a privilege that I do not take lightly. It is my passion and duty to provide psychological support to those in distress, and always to put the health of people first. I enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, listening to others’ perspectives, and I am always motivated to learn.

I am a clinical psychologist that works eclectically. However, my framework for understanding is based in early relationships which inform how we think, feel and behave in the world with ourselves and others. The relationship between myself and a client is pivotal to the success of the therapy process. I have special interest in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and I also really enjoy both individuals and couples work. I work with both teens and adults. With training in EMDR, I am also able to assist individuals struggling with trauma. I believe therapy is a journey of self discovery which informs behavioural changes; it is a gift to the self.

I am a Registered Counsellor offering practical, compassionate psychological support to teens, adults, couples and families. My work draws from cognitive-behavioural, person-centred, and solution-focused approaches to help clients better understand themselves, and navigate challenges. I also provide psychometric assessments for children, high school learners, and university students. I have a special interest in supporting boys and young men with anger regulation, emotional difficulties, academic productivity, and building healthier relationships. I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey of growth and change. Click here for more information or an appointment.
